The Big Move...
Denee' I moved to the Pearl District of NW Portland at the end of July. This was a breath of fresh air for the both of us. This section of the city has really come about in the past 5-10 years. It was a rejuvenate project that went into old warehouses and either revamped everything to make them livable or tore them down to make room for the new and the modern. On ground floor there are arrays of boutiques and enough restaurants to confuse for a year. Interesting enough NW Portland was rated friendliest city in the US for dogs, of which there are hundreds.
There are over 5,000 condos/apartments in the area and a new project has parceled out another 45 blocks to create another expanse of the Pearl, but with some offices in the mix. Should make for a nice addition to a great community.
So far Kirk, Faith, Jono, Aimee and Joe are the only people that have come and visit. I think that the magic of the area has worked on them. I see them moving here soon! Much love from the Kroeger's,

what about me foo? HOok me in with an invite. Bree and I love the pearl. I just saw something on evening magazine tonigt about the whole reconstructive phase that isht hole went through. They did a great job. Did you know that crazy matt use to live in the pearl. he know lives across the river in a nice remodeled home. So when do you come up for some snowboarding? I have gear now..and it's not ghetto

yeah man, p-town is legit. joe and i had a lot of fun scouring that place for new ideas and fresh energy. the nightlife around portland and the pearl is pretty cool. walking around at night with a clove is a great feeling. slinking into the low brow for a manhattan and domestic beer is a great way to top of a night. the lights were low. people were smoking and looking. if i could get a job at nike i'd move there...
